Following news report making the rounds that the incumbent executive of APC in Anambra state headed by Barr. Emeka Ibe have been dissolved by a federal high court in Awka on Thursday, 6 December, 2018, the State Exco of the party through the Publicity Secretary has reacted to the reports, insisting that they have not been officially served any judgment that dissolves the executive body by the court and encourages party faithfuls to ignore the reports, as there is no cause for alarm.

The Rejoinder reads:

“Our attention has been drawn to reports in some section of the media to the effect that the Anambra State Executive of APC has been dissolved by a federal High Court sitting in Awka.

Our State Executive have not been served with any court process in any high court matter relating to any subject around our mandate duly conferred on May 19,2018.

Consequently, our Executive will be surprised if judgement is entered in a matter in which , not being aware it has not defended itself on.

However, given our status as a party of the rule of law and due process, we shall if and when we are served with such a process and judgement study it properly with a view to doing the needful on it, within the hierarchy of laws and courts in Nigeria.

For now, there is no shaking, as we remain in our duty post, with three years and a half to complete our tenure.

In the interim, our Executive remain intact , properly constituted and within the due discharge of its duties in our great party.

In this wise we advise our party members, teeming supporters and the general public that there is no cause for alarm.

Our loyal party members are advised to go about their campaign in form order relating duly with all our structures within the state which for clarity will be published shortly.
